A document vault for policies, folios, PAN, and the papers you always lose
Keep insurance, mutual-fund folios, property papers, and identity documents with the same household that owns the money — searchable, categorised, exportable.
Money without papers is a rumour
A term plan that nobody can find at claim time is not coverage. A folio number trapped in an old email is not an investment. Monezy’s Document Vault sits in the same side bar as Income and Investments so the papers live next to the rupees they describe.
Profiles, categories, records, files
Vault members mirror the household. Category chips file records as identity, insurance, investments, property, tax, or medical. Each record holds the fields you actually search for later — policy number, folio, expiry, insurer — plus file attachments. Search is the point: type “star health” or a PAN and get the card, not a rummage through Drive.
What belongs in the vault
If a document would delay a hospital admission, a claim, a school admission, or a tax notice, it belongs here. That is a short list with a long tail.
- PAN, Aadhaar references, passports, and marriage certificates
- Health, term, motor, and home insurance — numbers, nominees, renewal months
- Mutual-fund folios, EPF UAN notes, demat and bank mandates
- Property papers, rent agreements, vehicle RC
- ITR acknowledgements and Form 16 copies you want beside the payslip
Export when you need a copy outside the browser
The vault is part of the household backup. Export from settings when you want an offline copy. Treat attachments as you would any personal archive: this is your family’s filing cabinet, not a public folder.
