India calculators inside the same app: income tax, SIP, PPF, EMI, gratuity
Use Monezy’s FY 2026-27 income-tax calculator, loan EMI, SIP/investment, PPF, and gratuity tools without leaving the household ledger — estimates, not advice.
Calculators that sit next to the books
Open Calculators in the side bar. These are planning tools, not a CA and not the Income Tax Department. They use current published rules so you can sanity-check a CTC, a home loan, a SIP, a PPF habit, or a gratuity estimate without exporting numbers into five random websites that still show FY 2023 slabs.
Income tax — new regime first, old regime when it still wins
The tax calculator is built for FY 2026-27. Enter salary and other income, age band, and the deductions that still matter. New regime is the default path for most salaried households after Budget 2025: revised slabs, standard deduction, and rebate/marginal relief where they apply, plus cess. Old regime remains for people with large HRA, 80C, 80D, and home-loan interest. Monezy shows both pictures so you can see which regime actually pays less for this family, not for a blog example from Delhi in 2019.
Loan EMI
Home and car loans are the largest forced SIPs most families will ever run. Enter principal, annual rate, and tenure. The EMI engine amortises monthly so you see instalment, total interest, and the slow grind of principal. Pair it with Overview: if EMI plus SIPs plus school fees exceed net income in a normal month, the loan is too large — no slideshow required.
SIP and investments
The investment calculator compounds a monthly SIP (annuity-due: money in at the start of the month, the way most Indian SIPs actually debit). Use it to test “₹20,000 a month for 15 years” before you log the SIP as an Invest transaction. Logging the SIP still happens in Investments — the calculator is the rehearsal.
PPF at the published rate
PPF is still the boring backbone of many Indian family vaults: 15-year lock-in, sovereign, EEE. The calculator uses the current published 7.1% rate and monthly minimum-balance compounding, not a round 8% from memory. It will not open a PPF for you. It will tell you whether ₹12,500 a month is a serious corpus or a round-off error.
Gratuity
Gratuity is often the forgotten bullet in a CTC. The calculator follows the Payment of Gratuity Act style formula — 15 days’ wages for each completed year, 26-day month — and the current wage-cap / 50% of wages conversation so a 15-year career is not valued on a back-of-the-envelope 15/30. Treat the output as a planning bound, then confirm with HR.
